Fishing Club
The BAYMEN are hard core into saltwater fishing. When the fish began to arrive in the spring, the winter fly tying season is over! Then we are on the water, as much as possible, in search of the striped bass that fill our bays May through October. We've developed a tradition of keeping a night open for our Weekly Fishing Club. It is made up of a great group of anglers from all over the north and south shores. The Fishing Club is free and open to fly fishing, light tackle and bait fishing for striped bass. New members are always welcomed.

How It Works: When the stripers began to show, anglers meet around 6:00pm, one night a week. We have an optional cash pool that you can put your money into for the longest striped bass caught that evening. We also have an optional "who get's to go on a boat" pool. We encourage anglers to bring their own boats and fish with a new angler each week. Many anglers fish from shore as well.

We draw names for the boat pool and the lucky winners get to go on a boat along with the Captain of that boat. The rest of the group fishes the shoreline. If there is a large shoreline group, we split it up into a couple of different shoreline groups. Then all of the club goes out to do what we do best: catch stripers on the bay!

A little after dark, we all meet, order pizza, give our fishing reports, and give away the cash pool to the angler that caught the longest striper of the evening. Many sporting anglers opt to roll the pool over for the next week and let it grow. When the pool is big, you can guarantee a good crowd will be fishing that night! Not everybody enters the cash pools, but regardless, all have fun fishing for striped bass with the free club. We hope you will join us. It is a great way to learn some new water and make some new fishing friends! For more information on dates & times: Please RSVP via e-mail or call. captdaveb@baymenoutfitters.com (781) 934-2838.
