Sea Duck Hunting
Welcome to the sea duck hunting guide service on the
Massachusetts coast!
Join us and experience the thrill of gunning big water over
large spreads of eider decoys for huge, northern eider
ducks. With seasons running October through January and
generous bag limits, there is nothing more exciting than a
New England sea duck hunting on the bays between Boston and
Cape Cod.
Join U.S Coast Guard Licensed Captain, and Professional sea
duck hunting guide, David C. Bitters, aboard his
twenty-foot, big water duck boat, The BAYMEN Guide. Head out
at dawn to set the decoys and meet the morning flights of
eider ducks, as they come in from the open sea. Experience
the thrill of big, New England eiders as they decoy to our
rigs. Enjoy spectacular gunning for these deceptively, fast
flying sea ducks and the beautiful scenery of the New
England coast.
We frequently have the opportunity for many other species of
ducks that come into our decoys. Possible bag limits could
include sea ducks, eiders, old squaw, brant, whistlers
(golden eye), blue bills, bufflehead, canada geese, black
ducks, mallards and teal. However, trophy eiders, "black and
whites" are our most popular bird. They make for exciting
gunning and are also excellent table fare. We supply some of
the finest recipes for sea ducks right here on our site at
